Visitor Testimonials (280)

My husband and I fell in love with this sweet little place back in June. And now, every time we go visit my Mom down in Easley, we will likely put money aside to dedicate just to our Anthem coffee & scones addiction. Great people own and run this place! There is a sweet garden-in-the-Georgian-Era vibe to this place. We cannot wait to go back!

I love this cute little coffee shop! I come here often and they never disappoint! Their matcha lattes are some of the best I have had and they also have little treats for breakfast or a pick me up that are always delicious too. I recommend if you are in the area, they have a great selection of tea and coffee and the staff is always so friendly.

I’ve been coming here for months now at least twice a week. This is the BEST cafe!! The owners are the sweetest and have learned both my name and usual order (they even know my “switching it up” order). Autumn and Susanna are so kind and welcoming and they never fail to put a smile on my face with their cute little messages on the to go cups. Love this place so much, definitely should try! Here are some cute pictures I’ve taken of my lattes:

Anthem is an absolute gem of a coffee shop. The moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. It's the perfect spot to relax, read, or catch up with a friend. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive — they make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. And the coffee? Outstanding. Every cup is smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. Best of all, the pricing is very reasonable, especially for the quality and experience you get. If you're looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to unwind with a great cup of coffee, Anthem is the spot. Highly recommend!

Stopped in here for a hot drink on a cold May Day. This place is sooo cute, the whole aesthetic vibe going on in here was nice, cute options for chatting with friends for coffee or a pastry. Staff was super sweet and enjoyed what we got!

This coffee place is amazing. They always remember me, my orders and my friend who I usually go with or meet there. The decor is so cute and I love the other trinkets that they sell as well. The syrups are homemade which is so nice. It is the BEST coffee shop I have ever been too. Only thing is (and it’s not a negative- just a heads up if you’re looking at reviews before checking it out) it is not a “hurry up and order place.” They take their time to ensure your order is right and made with love. Sometimes there’s no line and you’re lucky but it’s definitely an atmosphere that doesn’t rush which is nice. 20/10 highly recommend!

I came in for a latte and accidentally found my second home. Anthem isn’t just a coffee shop, it’s where you go to breathe, laugh, and maybe spill your soul a little. The space is full of cozy charm (shoutout to the plants and cute decorations), but the real magic is Susanna and Autumn. My best friend and I have spent hours here just talking, catching up, and hanging out with them like we’re regulars in a sitcom. They’re the kind of people who remember your name, your weird order, and ask how you really are. The coffee is consistently excellent. Thoughtfully made, smooth, and never too sweet. Iced coffee lattes = elite. If you’re looking for more than caffeine, if you want comfort, kindness, and community, this is the spot. Just go already.

The Heartbeat of the Town — Anthem Coffee is a Vibe, a Place, and People I don’t usually write reviews this long, but Anthem Coffee deserves more than just a few stars and a “great coffee” comment. It deserves a book. A letter, really. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a warm hug in a mug with beautiful faces, hearts of gold, and a space that’s just dripping with charm—Anthem is your spot. Let me set the scene. You walk in, and it just smells like calm. Like espresso and fresh pastry and hints of vanilla and citrus. The music is always just right. Not too loud, not too sleepy—just enough to make you want to linger a little longer. The lighting is soft and natural, like the sun is giving the shop a gentle high-five through the windows. And then there are the decorations. Whoever designed this place, hats off to them. ( Susanna) Every corner looks like a Pinterest board that came to life. You’ll see little plants dotting the shelves—some hanging, some potted, some tiny and thriving next to your latte. There are handwritten signs and little touches that change just often enough to feel fresh but always stay cozy. The walls are decorated with artwork that all goes together seamlessly. Even the mugs have character. Now let’s talk about the heartbeat of Anthem: the people. Susanna and Autumn. Honestly, I could write an entire separate review just about them. These two baristas don’t just make coffee—they craft experiences. They are genuinely some of the kindest, most intentional humans I’ve met in a long time. From the moment you walk in, they treat you like family. They remember your name. They remember your drink (even that weird custom one you got once on a whim). They ask about your day like they actually want to know. And the thing is—they do. Susanna has this calm presence about her. She always seems to move with a calm presence, even when the shop is slammed. There’s something so grounding about the way she greets people—like she sees you, not just another customer. She has a quiet joy that makes you feel like everything’s going to be okay, even if your day’s been total chaos. Autumn, on the other hand, brings the sunshine. She has a contagious laugh and this energy that fills the whole room. She’s the type of person who can turn a rushed coffee run into a full-blown highlight of your day. Whether she’s complimenting your outfit, cracking a joke, or just vibing with the playlist, she brings so much warmth and personality to the place. Together? They’re a dream team. Anthem isn’t just a coffee shop because of the drinks (which, by the way, are phenomenal)—it’s a coffee shop because of the way Susanna and Autumn bring it to life. They’re the kind of baristas that make you believe in humanity again. Now, don’t even get me started on the drinks. Anthem isn’t out here doing average coffee. Every latte is a masterpiece. Their seasonal drinks are always creative and thoughtfully balanced—never too sweet, never too bitter. You can tell they care deeply about quality. The espresso is rich and velvety, and the milk is always frothed to perfection (seriously, if you’ve had their oat milk lattes, you know what I’m talking about). And if you’re into tea or non-caffeinated options, they’ve got you covered too. Whether you’re meeting up with friends, having a first date, grinding out a study session, or just trying to escape the world for a little while, Anthem somehow adapts to you. It’s that kind of magical. I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops in a lot of towns, and there are plenty of great ones—but Anthem has that thing. That intangible magic. And it’s not just because the drinks are good (though they are), or the decorations are cute (which they totally are), but because of the people like Susanna and Autumn who make you feel known, welcomed, and wanted. Anthem doesn’t just serve coffee. It serves comfort. It serves community. It serves home. Do yourself a favor. Go.
